Bottle Turkeys

Hello, it's been a while since we have posted a project and will probably be a bit slow as I'm entering my last month of pregnancy and just feeling ready to pop! Lol!

The last couple of days we have been working on the cutest little turkeys! I used some glass bottles that I had saved (they were coffee drinks, but I've seen milk bottles at the craft store that would work too) some paint, googly eyes, and pipe cleaners. It's really easy but takes time for paint and glue to dry, so it goes...
Paint the outside of the bottle...

Once dry, pour on the glue.

I let Biggs bend the pipe cleaners (good for fine motor skills) and glue them on.

Googly eyes on and beaks...

Tada!!! They turned out so so cute!

We also started our "Thankful Pumpkins" we wrote down some of the things we are thankful for and hung them up around the house. As the days go by we will think of more things we are thankful for and add more pumpkins so by thanksgiving we can read them to each other and be grateful!
Biggs was so cute, his said that he is thankful for "making play dough", "playing with toys", "drinking water", "playing piano", and my favorite "for my friends, Alej, Leandro and Lauren"! So sweet. Can't wait to see what else he comes up with as the month goes on.
